Wise advice from Mumsnet: The best place to sell a Louis Vuitton bag?

Q) I have an LV small clutch sized bag that I would like to sell.
I think it was about £400 new and I have only used it once so want to sell it and buy something I would use more. . Does anyone know the best way to do this? It is a genuine one but I have los the certificate it came with. I could get it authenticated if needed and if it means I will get more money for it. I don’t use ebay and I have never sold a bag before so not sure the best place to do it.

A) I have just sold a Louis Vuitton handbag wth Pandora’s Dress Agency in Knightsbidge, Cheval Place. You won’t get as much back compared to if you sell on ebay, but it’s hassle free. Better to get something for it than have it lying in your wardrobe!
